First, watch the video to learn how to use this type of them. Then, replace the video by selecting it and clicking on the "Embed Options" tab on the right. Then, simply paste in the direct link to YouTube or Vimeo. Hide this element when you're finished.

If you would rather embed a video or stream from a different service, use the "Livestream - iFrame Block", which can be found hidden in the Layout Tab.

AGENDA

With women still underrepresented in leadership positions, and with this year bringing disruptive events that have forced organizations to rethink the future and to step up their game across the board, a lot of companies have been announcing new initiatives aimed at promoting diversity and increasing women in leadership. However, few companies have strategies in place to support improving women in leadership roles in the next five years.

What everyone can agree on (and what recent research supports) is that companies that fail to implement and promote inclusive policies face potentially devasting roadblocks in the near future including financial risks, problems acquiring and retaining employee talent, and failing to engage an increasingly diverse consumer base.

This strategy session will focus on how managers can identify and break down silos within their organizations that hinder gender diversity and will provide the beginnings of a roadmap of actionable steps they can take today to "right the ship" for 2021 and beyond!

Key Takeaways:

•

How Bloomberg’s Gender Equality Index (GEI) and the standardized disclosure of gender-related data allows companies to attract capital and talent, empowers investors to make investment decisions through a social lens and enables employees and communities to hold companies accountable for progress.

•

How to prepare Millennial and Gen Z women for leadership roles NOW (considering so many Baby Boomers are retiring in the next 5-10 years) and how to segue from mentorship to sponsorship of up-and-coming leaders.

•

How to have honest and uncomfortable conversations with employees about diversity that breaks down long-standing silos.

•

How to use the science of organizational behavior to evolve company culture to support growing women in leadership and to make ALL employees part of this process and its success.

•

How to engage men to actively participate in increasing women in leadership including identifying and fixing unconscious bias and resistance to change.
